It's Puppy Madness at Chain of Hope!
We have LOTS of puppies up for adoption at Chain of Hope right now!
Two
of our adorable pups, Macy and Mackenzie, were on the NBC Midday Show
today, and
we have several more beautiful puppies who are also looking for their
forever homes. We are having an Open House Meet and Greet for all our
puppies this
Saturday, February 11th from 12:30-2:30!!!
We will also have several of our wonderful
adult dogs there for you to
meet as well! You can fill out an adoption application ahead of time at
chainofhopekc.org on the Adoptable Pets page or you can wait until Saturday!

Recent Events:
Great Turn Out for the Chain of Hope Food Drive on January 27th and 28th at the Lee's Summit Hy-Vee on Ward Road!
Thank you everyone who donated and volunteered at
our 2-day donation drive at the Hy-Vee in Lee's Summit. It was a huge success!
The Chain of Hope van was completely full of donations and this is the second
car load of donations! We also received over $500 in cash donations!! Again,
thank you to everyone who donated, this food will go to good use! And thank you
to all the hard working volunteers that made this possible!
Free Hay for Dog Houses was a BIG Success!
Our event on Saturday December 3rd
had a great turn-out! We gave away over 50 bales of straw and hay and helped
more than 100 people in keeping their outdoor dogs warmer and more comfortable
this Winter! We also signed up several people for free spay and neuter
services! In addition, we accumulated a list of about 10 people who badly need
a better dog house for their dogs so if you or anyone you know has a dog house
they no longer need we would really appreciate the donation! Mostly we need
large dog houses as most of the outdoor dogs we come across are large breed
dogs.
The Hay Give-Away is just ONE thing that "Five Before the Frost" made possible! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! to all who donated!!!
And
as always, a big loving THANK YOU! to all the wonderful volunteers who
donated, helped to organize this, and stood out in the freezing rain to
help give these dogs a little warmth and comfort from the wet and the
cold of the Winter season!
